Data Processing Policy

Draft for review. Prepared with the site rebuild. Have it checked by a lawyer before launch, and appoint a named grievance officer as required under the DPDP Act, 2023.

1. Who processes your data

Tattva Technologies ("we"), Plot 52, Sahyog Cooperative, Sector 9, Rohini, Delhi 110085, is the data fiduciary for all personal data collected through sportsalgo.in and through our booking and delivery process.

We do not collect card numbers, UPI PINs or banking credentials at any point. Payments are made directly to our bank or UPI account, and we only ever see the transaction reference you give us.

3. Match footage and the people in it

Match footage records players, officials and anyone else on or near the field of play. This matters, so:

• The person booking is responsible for having the right to record at that venue, and for informing the players and organisers that the match is being filmed.
• Footage is processed only to produce the coverage, highlights and analytics ordered.
• We do not run facial recognition or identify individuals beyond the jersey numbers and player names you give us.
• Where minors are involved, the booking party confirms that the school, academy or guardians have consented to filming.
• We use clips publicly only with written permission from the booking party.

4. How it is processed

Footage is uploaded from the coordinator's device to our storage, then run through our tracking and analytics pipeline to generate events, heat maps and reports. Processing is automated; our analysts review the output before delivery. Processing happens on servers located in India, or in a jurisdiction offering comparable protection where a service provider requires it.

5. Who can access it

• SportsAlgo staff who need it to deliver your booking
• The field coordinator assigned to your match (booking and venue details only)
• Service providers that host our site, storage and email, under contract and confidentiality
• Our accountants and auditors, for payment records
• Law enforcement or courts, where we are legally required to disclose

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

6. How long we keep it

• Match footage and reports: 90 days in active storage, then deleted. Tell us before then if you want a longer retention window.
• Booking and contact records: 3 years, for support and dispute history.
• Payment and invoice records: 8 years, as required by Indian tax law.
• Marketing consent records: until you withdraw consent.

7. Security

Footage sits in private storage and is shared only through expiring download links. Access to booking data is restricted to the staff who need it. Our site is served over HTTPS. We log administrative actions on bookings so changes can be traced.

If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as required, with what happened and what to do about it.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for anything beyond delivering your booking. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to sportsalgo.in@gmail.com with your booking reference; we respond within 30 days.

Deletion requests are honoured except where tax or legal rules require us to keep a record.

9. Grievance officer

Complaints about how your data is handled go to our grievance officer at sportsalgo.in@gmail.com, and are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 30 days. Unresolved complaints may be taken to the Data Protection Board of India.
